Sinopse:
Novo México, 1865. James Conners (Justin Ament) acaba de retornar para sua cidade natal, Legend, onde seu pai, o pastor local, foi assassinado cruelmente por Will Tunney (Angus Macfadyen). No vilarejo, ele encontra o grande amor de sua vida. Mary Cooper (Marnie Alton), com quem pretende se casar. Em Legend, Conners consegue colocar Tunney na cadeia, mas este, ajudado por capangas, consegue fugir. Os dois se reencontrarão para acertar as contas. No meio tempo, uma série de acontecimentos dramáticos farão Conners desistir de sua promessa de nunca matar ninguém.
